First, we would like to say a huge THANK YOU for all you do! Our prayer is that you, as a parent, are blessed by the Stand in every interaction and any invovlement! Were working on have some Frequently Asked Questions up on this page, as well as some testimonies from other parents, but in the meantime we would like to provide you with details on what we have planned for The Stand and what Mannahouse Youth are all about.
The Stand is a program presented for the youth.by the youth. It is a drug and alcohol free youth event, with skate park, bands, tribal wars, motivational speakers and multi-media presentations all based on Christian values.
The Stand is an extension of Mannahouse Youth, which is a part of Mannahouse Ministry Centre at South Nowra. Mannahouse Youth is led by Ps Benaiah Halliday who has been the Mannahouse Youth pastor for the last 6 years.
Mannahouse Youth is aimed at building confidence and self-esteem in young people and giving them a positive outlook on life, while teaching them to have respect for themselves, others and those in authority.
The Stand runs at two locations:
Time: Friday nights from 7pm-9m
Nowra Venue:Mannahouse Ministry Centre, 8 Bellevue Street, South Nowra
Jervis Bay Venue: Huskisson Community Centre, 11 Dent Street Huskisson
We endeavour to have security personnel on site during the night, as well as volunteer youth leaders. If you know of a young person who may be interested in attending, please feel free to invite them along!
